We enjoyed a recent visit to Fayette State Park on the picturesque Garden Peninsula in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Fayette was a bustling iron smelting community in the 1800’s. The only access they had to the outside world was through their harbor. Today it is a well preserved ghost town, drawing many visitors every year. The surrounding landscape of blue water, limestone cliffs and cedar forests make this a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy and explore.
Nice presentation of Fayette. Sharp clear pictures and lovely variety.
